“Stadtfinden” merges the words for “city” (Stadt) and “to take place” (stattfinden), hinting at urban spaces as sites of encounter and rediscovery. In a team of three, we wrote a paper exploring how design can support the creation of urban social spaces. We posed the question: “In what ways can design concepts encourage social interaction in urban spaces?”. After conducting a survey with citizens of Graz we created a short film and designed a movie poster. I was responsible for writing, camera work, animation, illustrations and the movie poster.
